The Lorikeet Series
I took a fancy to the harmony of contrasting colors in a lorikeet and came up with these two works. Mostly used the palette knife.
I have recently got back to my art expedition, which I had discontinued some years ago.
I draw inspiration from a variety of natural elements such as blades of grass, tree barks, petals, birds, animals, and landscapes to name a few.
I can best describe my works as abstract expressionism, as I love to abstract all the elements mentioned above. Abstraction helps me in letting my paintings evolve into what they will be.
I use the palette knife in most of my works
